The invention relates to a biocidal product to be used for ant control in buildings and in the proximity thereof and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the product comprises plants as powder: 0.1...3% Allium sativum, 0.1...3% Capsicum annuum, 0.1...3% Cynnamomum zeylanicum, 0.1...3% Ferula assa-foetida, 0.1...3% Foeniculum vulgare, 0.1...3% Myristica fragrans, 0.1...3% Piper nigrum, 0.1...3% Syzygium aromaticum, 0.1...3% Zingiber officinale, 30...80% sodium bicarbonate as powder, 5...20% disodium phosphate powder, 5...40% starch powder, the percentage being expressed by weight. The process claimed by the invention consists in homogenizing the plants in a powder homogenizing apparatus, for 10 min, at a temperature of 5...25°C, the homogenized composition being then mixed with starch in a powder homogenizing apparatus, for 10 min, at a temperature of 25°C, the resulting powder being afterwards mixed with the sodium bicarbonate and the disodium phosphate for 10 min, at 5...25°C, and further homogenized for 10 min at the same temperature, thereby resulting the final product as a biocompatible powder which is non-toxic for both humans and vertebrates.Invenţia se referă la un produs biocid, destinat îndepărtării furnicilor din spaţii construite şi din proximitatea acestora, şi la un procedeu pentru obţinerea acestuia.
