A composition comprising a cannabinoid receptor binding agent attached to a particle for the treatment of skin conditions. The particle may be a nanoparticle, such as nanocrystalline cellulose. The particle may further be modified with functional moieties. Drug delivery properties may be modified by coating the particles or using vesicles to deliver the cannabinoid receptor binding agent and particle.
