PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for calibrating power measurements in an electrosurgical generator.SOLUTION: The electrosurgical systems accurately determine the power actually applied to a load by using equalizers 221 to calibrate the power measurements. The electrosurgical systems include an electrosurgical generator 102 and an electrosurgical instrument 201 coupled to the electrosurgical generator 102 through an electrosurgical cable.
