PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide percutaneous absorption compositions in which the skin permeability of a basic drug is increased, and to provide percutaneous absorption promoting agents of a basic drug.SOLUTION: The above-mentioned object can be achieved by a percutaneous absorption composition containing a basic drug or a salt thereof, and sorbic acid and/or a sorbic acid metal salt. Preferably, the content of the sorbic acid component is 0.5 to 2.5 mol with respect to 1 mol of the basic drug.
