617535 Disclosed is an article of apparel when used for attenuating or blocking electromagnetic fields and scent or odour emanating from a human body, to avoid detection from an animal. The article of apparel has an electromagnetically shielding fabric (40) that includes a substantially continuous system of conductive fibres (44) combined with a non-conductive fabric (42). The conductive fibres (44) are also configured to attenuate an emanating scent or odour from the human body. The shielding fabric (40) attenuates the emanated electromagnetic field at frequencies less than about 1 gigahertz.
