Disclosed is a hair conditioning composition comprising: a cationic surfactant a high melting point fatty compound a deposition polymer having specific monomers and an aqueous carrier wherein the mole % of the cationic surfactant to a sum of the cationic surfactant and the high melting point fatty compound is from about 20% to about 60%. The composition of the present invention provides improved friction reduction on wet hair and/or improved clean feel on wet hair, while providing improved deposition of cationic surfactant, fatty compounds, and/or silicone compounds.Linvention concerne une composition de soins capillaires comprenant : un tensioactif cationique un composé gras à point de fusion élevé un polymère de dépôt comportant des monomères spécifiques et un excipient aqueux le % en mole du tensioactif cationique sur la somme du tensioactif cationique et du composé gras à point de fusion élevé étant compris entre environ 20 % et environ 60 %. La composition selon linvention présente lavantage de mieux démêler les cheveux humides et/ou de leur conférer une plus grande sensation de propreté tout améliorant le dépôt de tensioactif cationique, de composés gras et/ou de composés de silicone.
