PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion aid for a gastrostomy tube capable of making insertion operation of the gastrostomy tube into a gastrostomy extremely smooth.SOLUTION: An insertion aid for a gastrostomy tube comprises a holding rod 2 for holding a bowl-shaped bumper part 11 disposed on a gastrostomy tube 9 on a front end part, and an extending rod 5 disposed on the same axis with the holding rod 2 and on the front end part of the holding rod 2. The extending rod 5 penetrates part of a peripheral wall of the bumper part 11. The insertion aid for a gastrostomy tube further comprises a regulation part 6 for regulating movement of the bumper part 11 to which the extending rod 5 penetrates, toward the holding rod 2 side. The extending rod 5 is formed so as to be more flexible than the holding rod 2.
