PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for reducing generation of color unevenness of an observed endoscopic image while obtaining excellent endoscopic image even when enlarging observation using white light.SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes: a white light source a narrow band light source for generating the narrow band light of a wavelength range from purple to blue an imaging element for receiving light of the reflected light of the while light and imaging an endoscopic image of a subject even when observation using normal light large observation means for changing an imaging magnification to focus the subject on a light-receiving surface of imaging means in an adjacent state of a space between a surface of the subject and the light-receiving surface of the imaging means rather than a predetermined distance when enlarging observation using white light a luminance calculation part for outputting correction signals to correct the shortage of a blue component when the blue component of the endoscopic image is equal to or less than a predetermined value based on luminance information calculated from the endoscopic image at the time of enlarging observation using the white light and an irradiation light amount control part for controlling to irradiate the subject at a predetermined emission rate of the while light and the narrow band light in accordance with the correction signals.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】白色光での拡大観察時であっても、観察する内視鏡画像の色ムラの発生を改善し、良好な内視鏡画像を取得することができる内視鏡装置を提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡装置は、白色光光源と、紫色~青色の波長範囲の狭帯域光を発する狭帯域光光源と、通常光観察時に、白色光の反射光を受光して被検体の内視鏡画像を撮像する撮像素子と、白色光での拡大観察時に、被検体の表面と撮像手段の受光面との間隔が所定距離よりも近接した状態で、被検体が撮像手段の受光面に合焦するように撮像倍率を変更する拡大観察手段と、白色光での拡大観察時に、内視鏡画像から算出した輝度情報に基づいて、内視鏡画像の青色成分が所定値以下であった場合に、青色成分の不足を補正するための補正信号を出力する輝度算出部と、補正信号に応じて、白色光と狭帯域光とが所定の発光比率で被検体に照射されるように制御する照射光量制御部とを備える。【選択図】図3
