The subject of the present invention is a rotary haymaking machine provided with secure tools which comprises at least one rotor comprising at least one radially extending rotary support arm (3), with an inner end connected to the hub of the rotor and an outer end. opposed bearing at least one working tool having strands (6) connected by an intermediate portion having, on the one hand, turns and, on the other hand, at least a bending section for attachment to the support arm (3), this arm (3) extending internally through at least some of the turns and a coil retention piece disengaged from the support arm (3) being attached thereto.
