A method for fixation of the implant in postoperative ventral hernia comprises fixation of the implants with through glover sutures and needle for glover sutures. In the middle hernia, preoperatively topography of a. et v. epigastrica superior, a. et v. epigastrica inferior is marked on the anterior abdominal wall with marker under Dopplerography control. The hernial sac is separated with the cut equal to the diameter of hernial orifice. Then the hernial orifice is exposed. The underlying peritoneum and posterior leaf of the sheath of rectus muscles of abdomen are separated from other tissues of abdominal wall. The posterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscles of abdomen is reconstructed under control of intra-abdominal pressure. The size of the synthetic implant is defined. The implant is tailored and sutured with ligatures at the sites of anticipated fixation. The synthetic implant is flattened and pulled onto the posterior leaf of the sheath of rectus muscles of abdomen and fixed to the anterior abdominal wall in the projection of the points located beforehand. The soft tissues of the postoperative wound are sutured.Спосіб фіксації імплантату при післяопераційній вентральній грижі включає фіксацію імплантату за допомогою наскрізних кушнірських швів та кушнірської голки, крім того при серединних грижах перед операцією під контролем допплерографії маркером на передній черевній стінці позначають топографію a. et v. epigastrica superior, a. et v. epigastrica inferior, розрізом, рівним діаметру грижових воріт, виділяють грижовий мішок, який обробляють і оголюють грижові ворота, в області грижових воріт відокремлюють підлягаючу очеревину й задній лист піхви прямих мязів живота від інших тканин черевної стінки розміром, більшим за визначений топографією, виконують реконструкцію задньої стінки піхви прямих мязів живота під контролем внутрішньочеревного тиску, остаточно визначають необхідний розмір синтетичного імплантату, викроюють його й заздалегідь прошивають лігатура
