PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy field work machine capable of performing engine automatic stop processing and engine automatic start processing on the basis of manual operation satisfactorily without causing useless confusion to an operator.SOLUTION: Control means controlling actuation of parts of a machine body is provided on a travel machine body 3 with an engine mounted thereon. The control means, in a state in which a key switch is turned on, executes engine automatic stop processing in response to engine stop operation of one operation tool 53 of two different operation tools 52 and 53 as operation tools other than a key switch, and executes engine automatic start processing in response to engine start operation of the other operation tool 52 of the two operation tools 52 and 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
