To provide a shampoo which gives foam having a good foam quality, and can enhance the touch of hair and after washing the hair.
SOLUTION: This shampoo comprises at least an ampholytic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, and a cationized polymer, wherein the ampholytic surfactant is a branched fatty acid amide propyl betaine type ampholytic surfactant and at least a part of the anionic surfactant is an acylamino acid or its salt. In the shampoo, the mass ratio of the amount of the compounded ampholytic surfactant to the amount of the compounded anionic surfactant is preferably 1:3 to 1:6.
