The purpose of the present invention is to provide an anodized aluminum alloy member having excellent insulating properties. An anodized aluminum alloy member according to the present invention is configured of an aluminum alloy base and an anodic oxide film that is formed on at least a part of the surface of the aluminum alloy base. At least a part of the anodic oxide film has a composite film structure wherein the surface of the anodic oxide film is covered or modified with a siloxane compound; and the siloxane compound has a molecular structure wherein an alkyl group is bonded to at least some of silicon atoms thereof.
