PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing soil collapse due to a grooving plate while leveling a field before the transplantation of seedlings.SOLUTION: A transplantation apparatus comprises a grooving plate 41 extends from the front to the rear, a transplanting part 42, and a soil packing roller 38 disposed in front of the grooving plate 41. A front end part of the grooving plate 42 is located in front of the transplanting part 42. The soil packing roller 38 comprises a cylindrical part 51 extending in a width direction as well as a substantially horizontal direction, and a disc 52 extending from the cylindrical part. Because the disc 52, the front end part of the grooving plate 41, and the transplanting part 42 are arranged so as to overlap in a front and rear direction, the soil packing roller 38 packs a field after tillage and forms a groove in front of the grooving plate 41. Since the grooving plate 41 expands the groove formed by the soil packing roller 38, soil collapse occurring when the grooving plate 41 passes through becomes smaller.
