PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oriented collagen material which allows performing freely designing a shape and a direction of orientation, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A sheet-like dry oriented collagen material has a plurality of layers of sheets which are obtained, in a state that the orientation of a plurality of collagen gel fractions having a string shape and orientation in a collagen gel long axial direction is coincided with orientation desired for the sheet-like dry oriented collagen material as a final product, by aligning the plurality of collagen gel fractions on a planar surface and bonding the collagen gel fractions to each other, and in the sheet-like dry oriented collagen material, a direction of orientation of each layer is the same or different.
