PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber member which is hard to degrade even after radiation sterilization by irradiation with &gamma ray or the like is performed, a sterilized medical rubber member with radiation sterilization processing by irradiation with the &gamma ray or the like, and a rubber composition used for manufacturing the medical rubber member which is hard to degrade even after the radiation sterilization by the irradiation with &gamma ray or the like is performed.SOLUTION: The medical rubber member contains 100 parts of mass of silicone rubber and silica of 20 parts of mass to 45 parts of mass. In the sterilized medical rubber member, the rate of change of tearing strength before and after the radiation sterilization processing of irradiating the &gamma ray at an exposure rate of 50 kgy is in the range of -25 to 0%.
