PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly search an appropriate condition for performing a region expansion on a voxel image in an apparatus for creating a pixel image from a voxel image of a subject. SOLUTION: A selection of a starting pixel, which is a pixel serving as a starting point in a pixel image, is accepted, and in the pixel image, the selected starting pixel is set as a starting point and is connected to the starting pixel, and a corresponding voxel has a predetermined selection condition. Pixels to be satisfied are sequentially searched for, voxels satisfying the selection condition are selected as selection voxels, and pixels corresponding to the selection voxels are displayed separately in a pixel image.
