As shown in FIG.본 고안은 야생동물의 도로 침입에 따른 로드 킬(Road Kill)을 방지하기 위한 유도울타리에 관한 것으로서, 특히 벽을 타고 넘어갈 수 있는 뱀류의 로드 킬을 방지하며 도로에 위치한 뱀은 유도울타리를 쉽게 통과하여 도로 밖(이하 초지라 함)으로 탈출이 용이하도록 구성한 것이다.상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 고안에 따른 로드킬 방지용 유도울타리는 도로변을 따라 간격을 두고 지면에 세워져 고정된 지주들과, 지주와 지주의 사이를 연결하며 지주의 높이 상부에서 하부로 갈수록 메시 규격이 점차 조밀하게 형성된 휀스와, 뱀이 휀스를 타고 올라오는 것을 방지하기 위해 도로의 반대편인 휀스의 일면에 장착되며 바깥방향으로 볼록하게 형성된 오름방지턱을 포함하며, 오름방지턱의 길이는 지주와 지주 사이의 간격에 해당하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
