FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to medicine. Device for destruction of concrement in body into smaller fragments and extraction of fragments from body includes envelope for extension, probe for lithotripsy, tubular element and extraction basket. Envelope for extension is adjusted for penetration into body duct to reach location of concrement to be destructed into smaller fragments. Probe for lithotripsy is adjusted for destruction of concrement into smaller fragments. Tubular element is installed inside envelope for extension and has proximal end, distal end and located on axis internal lumen, made inside tubular element to provide possibility of inserting lithotripsy probe into tubular element from proximal end. Extraction basket is connected to said tubular element at distal end of tubular element and is adopted for gripping and holding concrement and smaller fragments for their extraction from body. Said extraction basket includes construction, which includes proximal section of basket and distal section of basket, and which consists of multiple threads protruding from proximal end of basket towards distal end of basket, and then returning to proximal end after formation of multiple thread loops in distal part of basket, and multiple twists of threads on proximal section of basket. Method of destructing concrement in body into smaller parts and extraction of parts from body with application of said device includes the following operations: (a) insertion of said medical device with basket in closed condition into said body near concrement through endoscope； (b) manipulations with tubular element and envelope for extension in order to open extraction basket, catch concrement into extraction basket and close basket around concrement； (c) manipulation with said probe for lithotripsy for its moving out from lumen in tubular element and approaching concrement, caught into extraction basket； (d) supply of energy to said probe for lithotripsy to car
