A surgical device is provided. The surgical device includes a jaw assemblydefining afirst longitudinal axis and including a first jaw and a second jaw moveablerelative to the firstjaw； an elongated body defining a second longitudinal axis and coupled to aproximal end of thejaw assembly, wherein the jaw assembly is configured to articulate about anarticulation axistransverse to the second longitudinal axis relative to the elongated body； anda handle assemblycoupled to a proximal end of the elongated body and including at least onemotor mechanicallycoupled to the jaw assembly and a control assembly including a first controlbutton and a secondcontrol button, wherein actuation of the first control button moves the secondjaw inapproximation relative to the first jaw and actuating the second controlbutton moves the secondjaw away from the first jaw, and actuating the first and second controlbuttons moves the jawassembly to a centered position in which the first and second longitudinalaxes are substantiallyaligned, the handle assembly further includes an illumination memberconfigured to output alight pattern indicative of a status of the surgical instrument.
