To provide an agricultural/horticultural insecticide which has excellent insecticidal activity, a sure effect and safety.
SOLUTION: The agricultural/horticultural insecticide comprises substance PF1364 produced by microorganisms belonging to genus Aspergillus as an active ingredient. The strain which produces the substance PF1364 is Aspergillus ustus or Aspergillus pseudodeflectus, and the substance PF1364 can be produced by extraction with ethyl acetate, separation by an HP-20 column and thereafter fractionation by TLC or HPLC.
