PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat for a fishing rod capable of securing large intensity and suppressing corrosion and a fishing rod comprising the same.SOLUTION: A reel seat for a fishing rod comprises a metal cylindrical reel seat body 1, the reel seat body 1 comprises resin leg support members 41, 42 on a position to which a rear surface of a reel leg contacts. The reel seat body 1 comprises a pair of fitting holes penetrating inner/outer directions in a state in which the fitting holes are separated in an axial direction, and the leg support members 41, 42 are embedded in the respective fitting hole.
