A device for securing the suture anchor (2) in the hole made in solid fabric, using a material with thermoplastic properties and energy transferred to the suture anchor for local dilution of at least part of the material with thermoplastic properties, containing: tool (1) having a distal surface (10) of the tool and an axial channel (11) with a distal inlet portion located in the distal surface (10) of the tool, and essentially a tubular contact element (3) inserted into the axial channel (11) of the tool ( 1), wherein the axial channel (11) and the contact element (3) are provided with gripping elements (12 and 12 ′) interacting with each other to capture the proximal end of the contact element (3) in the axial channel (11) when the contact element (3 ) moves in the proximal direction in the axial channel (11) .2. The device according to claim 1, in which the gripping element (12 ′) is located at the proximal end of the contact element (3). The device according to claim 1, in which the tool (1) further comprises a stop (13) in the axial channel (11), configured to limit the movement of the contact element (3) in the proximal direction, and a control section distally adjacent to the stop (13) providing the possibility of visual control of the axial channel (11) in the radial direction. 4.
