Provided is a method for manufacturing a porous compact that is made of a hydrophilic material, and has densely and regularly arrayed voids. The compact is manufactured from a molding material (20), constituted by an emulsion comprising a continuous phase (22) and a dispersed phase (21), via a building step, a curing step, a stripping step, and a dispersed phase removing step. The continuous phase of the molding material (20) is an aqueous phase containing a curable compound. In the building step, the molding material (20) is introduced into a container (41). In the curing step, the curable compound is cured after the building step to obtain a cured product. In the stripping step, the container (41) and the cured product are separated after the curing step. In the dispersed phase removing step, the dispersed phase (21) of the cured product is removed after the curing step.本發明提供一種製造由親水性材料構成,且空隙部具規則性且緊密地排列之多孔成形體之多孔成形體的製造方法。成形體藉由立體化製程、硬化製程、剝取製程及分散相去除製程,由作為具備連續相(22)及分散相(21)之乳劑之成形材料(20)製造。成形材料(20)的連續相為含有硬化性化合物之水相。立體化製程中,將成形材料(20)裝入容器(41)中。硬化製程中,在立體化製程之後使硬化性化合物硬化而成為硬化體。剝取製程中,在硬化製程之後分離容器(41)和硬化體。分散相去除製程中,在硬化製程之後去除硬化體的分散相(21)。
