PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thawing apparatus which eliminates the need for complicated equipment and can evenly thaw an object to be thawed by evenly circulating warm air in a thawing chamber.SOLUTION: A thawing apparatus S for thawing an object to be thawed includes: a thawing chamber 1 which has a horizontal cross section of a square shape one warm air device 10 installed in a center part of the thawing chamber 1 four circulation fans 20 which are installed in the positions surrounding the warm air device 10 in the thawing chamber 1 to circulate warm air blown from the warm air device 10 in the thawing chamber 1 and a plurality of placing shelves 30 on which the object to be thawed can be placed.
