SOLUTION: The sensing unit 100 for detecting the heartbeat of a human body comprises a sound receiving member 101 to vibrate in response to the heartbeat of the human body a reflection member 102 to vibrate with different vibration characteristics from the sound receiving member 101 in response to the vibration of the sound receiving member 101 and a spacer array 109 for retaining the shape of a cavity 105 formed between the sound receiving member 101 and the reflection member 102 so that the opposite faces of the members are not brought into contact with each other.
