Active element is made in form of a crystal of yttrium aluminate YAP:Nd3+, converter of radiation into the infrared region of the spectrum (1150–1250 nm) is made in the form of a forsterite crystal Mg2SiO4:Cr3+, installed in the cooling unit, but for transformation of radiation into the second harmonic or into radiation of the total frequency, generator uses nonlinear crystals LBO or KTP or PPLN with angular or temperature rearrangement of the synchronism angle.
