A pants-shaped wearing article wherein each side of a front waist region and each side of a rear waist region which are connected together through a fastener are not unintentionally disconnected. An outer surface (21a) of a base sheet portion (21) of a front fastener (12) is joined to a fixing portion (23) of the inner surface of a front side edge (11) of a pants-shaped wearing article (1). The front side edge (11) has a non-fixing portion (24) to which the base sheet portion (21) is not joined. The non-fixed portion (24) is in a state in which the non-fixed portion (24) is folded back in a waist direction (R) such that the outer surface of the front side edge (11) faces inward.
