The dental handpiece of the present invention includes a length adjustment member for a cutting blade, which allows a user to precisely adjust a protrusion length of a cutting blade mounted to protrude from the housing of a cutting tool at a predetermined length, wherein an adjustment hole is recessed from the upper end of a main body to a predetermined depth by the protrusion length of the cutting blade to be adjusted, thereby allowing the cutting blade to be inserted to the predetermined depth and wherein when the cutting blade of a cutting tool is mounted on the housing, the upper end of the main body comes in contact with the housing of the cutting tool and the cutting blade of the cutting tool is inserted as deep as it can be to touch the inner lower surface of the adjustment hole formed on the main body, thereby enabling a user to adjust the protrusion length of the cutting blade protruding from the housing of the cutting tool at a predetermined length. Accordingly, by the length adjustment member for a cutting blade and the dental handpiece having the same according to the present invention, a protrusion length of a cutting blade mounted to protrude from a housing can be precisely adjusted at a predetermined length with no little error.
