SOLUTION: A hook sharpening tool is provided which has an abrasive tape made by forming abrasive grains having an average grain diameter of 40 &mu m or less (No.400 or more) and 0.5 &mu m or more (No.10 and 000 or less) ON the surface of a tape material and a seat for fixing the abrasive tape by bonding or sewing, can be attached to a fishing tool or clothes for fishing and can sharpen the tip end of a hook whose point has blunted.
