The present invention pertains to the technical field of herbicide crystallization processes, and particularly relates to an amorphous triazolesulcotrione, a preparation method therefor, and a use thereof. X-ray powder diffraction measurement is used to confirm the amorphous triazolesulcotrione is in an amorphous form, has no sharp diffraction peak, and preferably has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern substantially as shown in fig. 2. Compared with a crystal form A, the amorphous triazolesulcotrione of the present invention has good physical and chemical stability: stored at a high temperature of 70°C for two months or less, the crystal form will not transform, the purity thereof is also substantially unchanged, and solubility thereof in water is nearly doubled. The amorphous triazolesulcotrione and a compound composition thereof with other active ingredients have excellent control effect on gramineous weeds and some broadleaf weeds in rice paddy and have good application prospects.
