An intraoral interface pressure measurement system which is useful for estimating the pressure and pressure transients produced by oral tissues. The intraoral interface pressure measurement system comprises a modified MEMS pressure sensor (21) in a conformable semisolid body (20) which measures the pressure applied by the selected tissue to other surfaces within the oral cavity, and communicates this and other data to a control means (3) which in turn wirelessly communicates the data to a remote data logger (11).
