PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment tool for an endoscope capable of reducing breakage of an operation wire and a burden of a sheath, in which rotation of an operation wire can be smoothly and easily returned, and the treatment tool hardly vibrates.SOLUTION: A treatment tool for an endoscope includes a long-length flexible cylindrical sheath 31, an operation wire 32 disposed so as to advance or retreat in a longitudinal direction in the sheath 31, an operation part 34 for operating the operation wire 32 so that it can advance or retreat, and a treatment part 33 connected to the tip of the operation wire 32, and is configured so that the sheath 31 and the operation wire 32 integrally rotate around a shaft on a base end side, and the sheath 31 and the operation wire 32 rotate independently around the shaft on a tip side.
