PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of eliminating the variations of speed when moving up and down a planting part and accurately moving up and down an operation part at a desired speed.SOLUTION: A planting part is liftably and lowerably connected to a running machine body. A lifting cylinder moves up and down the planting part. An elevation valve 41 adjusts the flow rate of hydraulic oil for the lifting cylinder. A proportional pressure-reducing valve for lowering drives a spool 48 of the elevation valve 41. A control part controls the proportional pressure-reducing valve for lowering. A rice transplanter is provided with a stopper member 65 which regulates the moving range of the spool 48 by contacting the spool 48. The control part lowers the planting part in a state in which the spool 48 contacts the stopper member 65.
