The present invention relates to a manual drive device for a wheelchair, which has, on a rotary shaft of a wheelchair wheel, a simple technical configuration of a lever form without having a complete technical configuration, and which is moved by receiving power by pressure during a simple swing action of a user arm and blocks the power transmission when the pressure is released. The device comprises: an extension shaft portion extending from a rotary shaft of a wheelchair wheel； a drive caster mounted on the extension shaft portion and provided to rotate together with the wheelchair wheel； and a swing drive unit rotatably provided on the rotary shaft while surrounding the drive caster, pressing to be in contact with the drive caster during swing such that the wheelchair can be moved, and preventing driving force from being transmitted by being separated from the drive caster when the pressure is released. Accordingly, the device can allow a user to move smoothly with minimum force without any hassle or inconvenience, and can be simply installed and used in an existing wheelchair without a complicated process.본 발명은 휠체어 바퀴의 회전축에 복잡한 기술적 구성을 가지는 것이 아니라 레버(lever) 형태의 간단한 기술적 구성을 가지면서 사용자 팔의 간단한 스윙(swing) 동작 시 가압에 의해 동력이 전달되어 이동되며 가압을 해제시 동력전달이 차단될 수 있도록 휠체어 바퀴의 회전축으로부터 연장되는 연장축부； 상기 연장축부에 장착되어 휠체어 바퀴와 함께 회전 가능하게 마련되는 구동 캐스터； 및 상기 구동 캐스터를 감싸면서 회전축 상에 회전 가능하게 마련되어 가압하여 스윙시 상기 구동 캐스터와 접촉되어 휠체어를 이동 가능하게 하고, 가압을 해제시 구동 캐스터와 이격되어 구동력이 전달되지 않도록 하는 스윙 구동부；를 포함하는 휠체어용 수동식 구동장치를 제공한다. 그에 따라 사용자로 하여금 번거롭거나 불편함 없이 최소한의 힘으로도 원활하게 이동할 수 있는 효과를 가짐은 물론 기존의 휠체어에도 복잡한 과정없이 간단하게 장착하여 사용할 수 있는 효과도 가진다.
