PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle hydroponic culture apparatus and a hydroponic culture method, allowing the control of a contained moisture amount corresponding to the cultivation of a plant sensitive to the contained moisture amount of soil, such as a tree.SOLUTION: By forming a region having a high moisture content by sufficiently supplying water below a root of a plant seeding and around the root with the root of the plant seeding as the center, and creating a state that the moisture content is reduced toward the root direction from the region, the root sensitive to moisture is protected from excessive moisture while sufficiently supplying moisture to a young root carrying the absorption of moisture and nourishment.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】樹木等の、土壌の含有水分量に敏感な植物の栽培に対応した、含有水分量の制御が可能でありながら取扱いの容易な水耕栽培装置及び水耕栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】植物苗の根元を中心に、その下側及び根元の周囲に十分に給水され水分含有量の高い領域を設け、そこから根元方向に向かって水分含有量が減っていく状態をつくることで、水分及び養分の吸収を担う若い根に十分水分を供給しつつ、水分に敏感な根元を過剰水分から守る。【選択図】図1
