An oral care product comprising uncoated particles of titanium dioxide having a weight mean particle size (d50) of less than 90nm and a means for depositing the titanium dioxide particles onto the surface of a tooth, the deposition means comprising calcium silicate. The product may be used in a method of whitening teeth. The deposition means may also comprise a phosphate source, preferably trisodium phosphate and/or sodium dihydrogen phosphate. The product is preferably a dual phase product comprising two independent compositions that are mixed immediately prior to use, applied to the teeth then irradiated wtih UV light. The product may be presented in the form of a kit with a source of UV light.L'invention concerne un produit d'hygiène bucco-dentaire comprenant des particules de dioxyde de titane non enrobées ayant une taille particulaire moyenne en poids (d50) inférieure à 90nm et un moyen pour déposer les particules de dioxyde de titane sur la surface d'une dent, le moyen de dépôt comprenant du silicate de calcium. Ledit produit peut s'utiliser dans une méthode de blanchiment des dents. Le moyen de dépôt peut également comprendre une source de phosphate, de préférence du phosphate de trisodium et/ou du phosphate de dihydrogène de sodium. Ledit produit est de préférence,un produit à deux phases comprenant deux compositions indépendantes qui sont mélangées immédiatement avant utilisation, puis appliquées sur les dents et enfin exposées à l'action de la lumière UV. Le produit peut se présenter sous la forme d'un kit comprenant une source de lumière UV.
