PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frozen croquettes having new taste and palate feeling. SOLUTION: The frozen croquettes are obtained by boiling in water one kind or a plurality of kinds of starting materials of adzuki bean, pea, white lupine bean, field pea, purple lupine bean, green soybean, Kintoki bean, pinto bean, Phaseolus vulgaris L., black soybean, soya bean and Daifuku bean and crushing into a pasty condition. It is all right to make a bean base material through grinding beans down into a powder body followed by making the powder body pasty by heating. The bean base material is added and mixed with meat, vegetables such as onion, salt, pepper, seasoning such as nutmeg, spices and the like. The mixed material is formed in an appropriate shape, coated with wheat flour, stirred egg and bread crumb, fried in oil and subjected to refrigeration process to make the frozen croquettes.
