PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus that uses a fiber bundle, wherein the time necessary for scanning is reduced.

SOLUTION: The optical scanning apparatus includes: a fiber bundle (7) composed of a plurality of fibers a light emitting unit (3) which emits light directed toward one end face of the fiber bundle, selectively to one of the plurality of fibers and a scanning unit (9) which scans an object with the light emitted from the other end face of the fiber bundle. The scanning unit performs continuous scanning, and while the scanning unit performs continuous scanning, the light emitting unit selectively emits light to at least one fiber of the fiber bundle.
