There is provided an inoculant composition for sucrose-rich crops improvingproduction with reduced use of nitogenfertilizer, which comprises Gluconacetobacter in suspension in a suitableculture medium, wherein the Gluconacetobacter beingin an amount suitable for inoculation of the crops.
