PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set a battery low voltage as a lower limit value for a power supply voltage, in a sphygmomanometer for measuring a blood pressure by driving a pump that supplies fluid to a cuff for blood pressure measurement by a drive voltage of a pulsating current or an alternating current.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer includes: a pump drive circuit 320 which generates a drive voltage of a pulsating current or an alternating current using a power supply voltage supplied from a DC power source 53 and which drives a pump 32 using the drive voltage a storage part 51 for storing relationship between the drive voltage and a ripple voltage generated in the power supply voltage and a drive voltage detection part 62 for detecting the drive voltage output by the pump drive circuit 320.
