A device (1) for guiding fishing gear (5) out of a container (20, 20a, 20b), the device (1) comprising a housing (10, 10a) with a first portion (11, 11a) which forms an inlet (12) for the fishing gear (5), a second portion (13) which forms an outlet (14) for the fishing gear (5), and there being a guide channel (15) for the fishing gear (5), extending from the inlet (12) to the outlet (14), the housing (10, 10a) being provided with a coupling flange (16) arranged to receive a portion of the container (20, 20a, 20b), oran adapter (30, 30a) arranged between the housing (10) and the container (20, 20a).
