PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize jamming of grass clippings in a shutter mechanism and thereby reduce the maintenance/inspection and cleaning work to be performed on the shutter mechanism.SOLUTION: A riding-type lawn mower 10 comprises: a housing 20 in which cutting blades 31L, 31R are accommodated a cut grass receptacle 51 provided at the rear of the housing a cut grass delivery passage 22 for delivering lawn grass cut by cutting blades from the housing to the cut grass receptacle and a shutter mechanism 80 which can open and close the cut grass delivery passage, and switch the lawn mower between a bagging mode and a mulching mode.
