Disclosed herein are a selective breeding method of an antitumor/anticancer Camellia sinensis strain and a tea product produced from such strain. Also disclosed herein are a pharmaceutical composition and a supplement, each of which includes the tea product. The selective breeding method includes: conducting a hybridization process so as to obtain progenies of Camellia sinensis subjecting the progenies of Camellia sinensis to determination of bioactive ingredient contents and selecting, from the progenies of Camellia sinensis, an antitumor/anticancer Camellia sinensis strain which meets five standards of bioactive ingredients.
