PURPOSE: An IV infusion flow regulator with a flushing feature is provided to regulate the flow-rate of IV infusion while preventing reverse flushing with a ratchet gear, thereby preventing medical malpractice.CONSTITUTION: An IV infusion flow regulator comprises a first body part(110) which includes an open space on the opposite side of a wall part, a tube compressing surface and a stationary roller groove a second body part(120) which is combined to the first body part to form a passage for an liquid infusion tube in the longitudinal direction between the first and second body parts and includes a tube compressing surface and a stationary roller groove a stationary roller(130) which includes a first gear part and a second gear part and a working roller(140) which controls infusion flow according to the degree of compressing the liquid infusion tube against the tube compressing surface and configures flushing by rotating with the first gear part of the stationary roller and a clip(150) which is combined in clip accommodation grooves of the first body part and the second body part.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013수액관을 통해 환자에게 공급되는 수액의 양을 조절하는 수액조절기에 플러싱 기능을 추가한 수액조절기가 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 수액조절기는, 제1몸체부와 제2몸체부와 고정롤러와 구동롤러를 구비한다. 고정롤러는 제1몸체부와 제2몸체부의 고정롤러홈에 축이 삽입되어 회전가능하도록 고정설치되며, 제1기어부와 제2기어부를 구비한다. 구동롤러는 제1몸체부와 제2몸체부 사이에서 일부가 노출되어 수납되며, 이 노출된 부분을 돌리면 구동롤러가 제1몸체부와 제2몸체부의 길이 방향을 따라 이동하면서 튜브압박면에 대해서 수액관을 압박하는 정도가 달라져서 수액의 흐름을 제어한다. 구동롤러는 또한 플러싱 위치에서는 수액관을 사이에 두고 고정롤러의 제1기어부와 협력하여 회전함으로써 플러싱이 되도록 한다. 고정롤러의 제2기어부는 래칫 기어(ratchet gear)로 구성될 수 있으며, 제2몸체부는 고정롤러의 래칫 기어에 맞물려서 역회전을 방지하는 폴(pawl)을 구비한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 래칫 기어에 의해 역방향의 플러싱 동작을 방지하므로 플러싱 역동작에 의한 의료사고를 예방할 수 있다.
