PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-Legionella bacteria material having excellent sustainability of bioactive function or sustained release properties of bioactive substance together with heat resistance, weather resistance, water retentivity, and environmental affinity, its production method, and a processed product obtained by pharmaceutically processing it into an arbitrary shape.
SOLUTION: The production method of an anti-Legionella bacteria material supporting a metal-tropolone complex having a bioactive function in between layers comprises using an inorganic layered compound as the main raw material and inserting one or more kinds of selected metal ions having a bioactive function as intercalated ions and a tropolone type compound, in a form of a metal-tropolone complex, in between layers by cation-exchange reaction.
