PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment chair, in which an instrument holder can be easily and correctly disposed at a correct position near the oral cavity of a patient even when its headrest or backrest seat has the expandable function.
SOLUTION: The dental treatment chair A includes a seat 2, the backrest seat 3 continuously provided at one end of the seat 2 in a reclinable way, the headrest 4 continuously provided at the upper end of the backrest seat 3, and the instrument holder 5 held on a shoulder part of the backrest seat 3. The headrest 4 is expandable in a direction along the continuous direction with the backrest seat 3 by means of an expansion mechanism 9. The instrument holer 5 comprises a holder body 5a, and a rod member 5b for supporting the holder body 5a, and is expandable in a direction along the expandable direction of the headrest 4 by means of an expansion mechanism 10. Expansion actions of the expansion mechanism 9 of the headrest 4 and the expansion mechanism 10 of the instrument holder 5 are correlated with each other.
