PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lip bumper which has a simple structure, gives less discomfort in wearing, never causes pains in temples (temporomandibular joints) by a large load imposed on the temporomandibular joints during an orthodontic treatment, and shows high effects on the orthodontic treatment with respect to maxillary protraction.SOLUTION: A lip bumper which is used in an orthodontic treatment of maxillary protraction is constituted of a bumper part 1 to be positioned closer to a lip side than lower anterior teeth and fixing clamp parts 2 which are integrated with the bumper part 1, are respectively protruded from both ends of the bumper part 1, and are fixed on tubes T adhering to cheek side surfaces of maxillary posterior teeth.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】構造が簡単で装着中の違和感が少なく、また歯列矯正中に顎関節に大きな負荷がかかってこめかみ(顎関節)に痛みが生じるようなことがなく、上顎前突に対する歯列矯正の効果が高いリップバンパーを提供する。【解決手段】リップバンパーを、上顎前突の歯列矯正において使用するリップバンパーであって、下顎前歯より唇側に位置させるバンパー部1と、バンパー部1と一体となっていてバンパー部1の両端からそれぞれ突設されており上顎臼歯の頬側面に固着されたチューブTに固定される固定クランプ部2とから構成させる。【選択図】図1
