PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an action support device equipped with a foot rest for supporting various actions of a user.SOLUTION: An action support device is configured such that, according to an operation of a user, a second seating surface frame 23 supporting the thighs of the user tilts forward and a foot rest 24 is lowered while a seating surface moves forward as a whole. Consequently, as shown in Figures 6(A), 6(B) and 6(C), the user's posture changes in such a manner that he/she is slightly pushed forward with his/her knees gradually stretched. In general, when a human stands up from a seated position, he/she makes the motions of moving the knees forward while shifting his/her gravity center slightly to a front side and then stretching the knees； a wheelchair supports the actions of a human during such motions. At the time, the foot rest 24 moves slightly rearward, so that it can support the user's motion of moving the knees forward, as the result of which forward moving of the user's center of gravity is smoothly performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】フットレストを備える装置において使用者の様々な行動を支援する行動支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】使用者の操作に応じて、座面が全体として前方に移動しながら、使用者の上腿を支える第２座面フレーム２３が前傾し、フットレスト２４が下降する。これにより、図６（Ａ）（Ｂ）（Ｃ）に示すように、使用者はやや前に押し出されながら膝が伸びていくように姿勢が変わっていく。一般に人間が着座状態から立ちあがるときときには、やや前方に重心移動しながら膝を前に出してから、膝を伸ばす動きとなるが、車椅子はこのときの人間の行動を支援する。さらにこのとき、フットレスト２４がやや後方に移動するので、使用者が膝を前に出す動きを支援することができ、この結果、使用者の前方への重心移動がスムーズになる。【選択図】図６
