The system includes a sheet substrate comprising a skin care ingredient and a microcurrent generator secured to the sheet. The microcurrent generator includes an oxidizing agent, a reducing agent and a salt-containing hydrogel. The generator is activated by wetting to produce microcurrent. The sheet is affixed to the skin.
